But our actuator can also actively recover heat. We pass the hot exhaust gas or air flow into heat exchangers, thereby actively increasing efficiency by utilizing the waste heat.
The actuator is mounted in any position on the valve stem.
After mounting the actuator on the valve stem, a calibration run takes place. During this calibration run, the flexible coupling element patented by KÜSTER locks onto the valve stem. The end positions are calibrated automatically.
The torque is transmitted to the output shaft of the actuator via a self-locking worm gear. From there, the flap is adjusted via the valve shaft.
