The innovative technology of our parking lock actuator ensures that parked cars are securely parked. Even with heavy vehicles parked on particularly sloping terrain, where enormous forces act on the system. Thanks to the special, patented design of the actuator, even heavy vibrations - for example on construction sites - do not affect the system. The lock remains firm and the vehicle remains secure and stable.
A special feature of our parking lock actuator is the patented concept for the arrangement of the motor and gearbox. This enables a particularly compact design and therefore not only saves weight, but also takes up very little space.
The position sensor detects the exact position of the actuator at all times and makes our actuator extremely safe and robust.
The electronics meet the security requirements of ISO 21434.
As soon as drive mode "P" is selected, the motor torque is transmitted to the actuator's output shaft via a self-locking worm gear. Its rotary movement engages the locking pawl in the vehicle gearbox and the vehicle is secured against rolling away.

When particularly heavy vehicles such as construction machinery, trucks or SUVs are parked on slopes, possibly even with a trailer, enormous forces are released. This is not a problem for our parking lock actuator, as it can withstand torques of up to 22 Nm. In addition, the motor is spring-mounted, which prevents the lock from "jumping out" even in the event of strong vibrations.
